Curt Simmons is a native of the state of Washington, and he received his degree in Journalism from Western Washington University in 1982. Curt served for nearly 25 years in full-time ministry, working in various leadership capacities in eight different states. Unsung Heroes is the second book in his series on heroic living. Small-Town Heroes was published in 2006, a book that takes an inside look at high-school basketball in one small town of Washington and the lessons of success that can be learned from two of the men who coached there, one of those his father. He has also written three other books that focus on spiritual matters and biblical truths, The Unveiling (1995), The Revealer (2005) and The Brotherhood of Believers (2007). Curt has been married to his wife, Patty, for 26 years, and they currently reside in a suburb of Chicago. Curt and Patty have two children, Brad, a student at Northern Illinois University, and Brittany, a student at the University of Missouri.
